About Us

Richland County Regional Solid Waste Management Authority was established by HB 592 to meet the challenges of trash disposal and recycling of Richland County's waste. The Authority seeks guaranteed disposal space for the county's trash and works toward meeting state recycling goals. Fourteen drop-off recycling locations throughout the county, twenty school recycling drop-offs, and a collection facility for electronics, appliances, and household recyclables form the foundation of recycling services provided to county residents. In addition, the Authority conducts programs for special wastes like yard waste, batteries, cell phones and tires. If you have questions about our programs or about a specific waste, call 419-774-5861 or check our website at richlandrecycles.com
