Cheryl Cates is an educator, change-maker and socialpreneur. Her guiding passion is helping leaders and organizations realize their potential. Her work in higher ed, k-12, community engagement, and talent development, is underscored by the belief that being better humans in life, love and leadership means a better world for all. As a speaker, Cheryl is known for making impact. Her eclectic background of engineering, education, entrepreneurship, and ministry give her a deeply rich perspective on the human experience. She earned her BS in in Computer Science Engineering, an MS in Organizational Leadership and ND in Naturopathy. She has spent the last twenty-five years speaking nationally and internationally to audiences on leadership, human potential, and personal empowerment. Through the power of the spoken word, she inspires audiences to embrace higher dimensions of thought and action, leading to individual and organizational transformation.
True to her calling, Cheryl is the founder and CEO of Women of Power Worldwide, an organization focused on building the capacity of women to take control of their lives. The Women’s School of Power™ and the Power State University™ provide serve as catalysts for transformation so women can rise to meet their destiny. Born and raised in Ohio, she calls Columbus her home.
