Formerly Lunch WISE Wednesday, this series exclusively for women is being hosted by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce.  Each month we'll have a time of powerful networking, a motivational "TED-type" talk as well as a chance to learn more about your community.  We look forward to having you join us!

Why Volunteering Your Time is so Important
I would like to share my personal experience as a woman in government (with no prior experience in the public sector) along with what we have accomplished in 5 1/2 years and what the future looks like for Bellville.

I went to Mt. Vernon High School and graduated from the Know County Career Center Secretarial Career program.  Raised three colts (kids) in the Valley.  Volunteered in the Clear Fork Youth and the Clear Fork Soccer Leagues for 10 years while working full time at Possum Run Greenhouse as the office manager/accountant.  Have been a member of the First English Lutheran Church in Mansfield for 29 years where I taught Sunday school for 10 years and served on church council.  I'm the 2nd Vice Chair of the Bellville Lion's Club and have been serving on the Bellville Beautification Committee for the past 14 years.  Started the Greenbriar Development Neighborhood Watch 8 years ago.  Assisted my 10 year old daughter, Lindsey in started the Bellville Farmer's Market 19 years ago which is still running today.  Blessed to serve on several other committees for the Village and County.  It's been such an honor serving the Village of Bellville residence over the past 5 1/2 years.
