This series, designed especially with women in mind, is being hosted by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development. Each month, we gather for a time of powerful networking, a motivational "TED-type" talk, as well as a chance to learn more about our community. We look forward to having you join us!
Becoming a Person of Influence; If your life in any way connects with people, you are an influencer. As a John Maxwell Certified Trainer, Duana will provide insightful ways to interact positively with others regardless of position or aspiration. Attendees will learn practical techniques that are easy to apply in everyday life that will help them be an influencer that will add value to others.
Meet our speaker:
Duana Patton, Chief Executive Officer, Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging
Duana Patton has been with the Ohio District 5 Area Agency on Aging, Inc. for 30 years and as CEO since 2006. She has spent her career in executive leadership in the non-profit sector ranging from workforce development to aging.
Duana is a certified Strategic Agile Organizational Leadership coach, an Executive Coach, a certified John Maxwell speaker, and a certified emerging leader coach. Duana has spoken at local, state, and national events on the topics of leadership, board governance, strategic planning, customer service and housing development.
Duana serves on numerous local, state, and national boards where she contributes her knowledge of aging, non-profit management, leadership, and business development. Most notably, she serves on the Board of the Ohio Association of Area Agencies on Aging, the USAging Board representing Region V and was appointed to the Ohio Housing Finance Agency Board by Governor John Kasich for a 6-year term in 2018, just to name a few.
Duana holds a bachelor’s in business management and an MBA in Healthcare Management both from The Western Governors University.
