Sunday Dec 6, 2009
5:00 PM - 6:30 PM EST
The holiday season is a time of joy and celebration. It is also a time when we are reminded of loved ones and friends. As the holidays approach, Hospice of North Central Ohio illuminates the season with a Tree of Lights in Ashland, Loudonville, Mansfield, New London, and Shelby. The lights on each tree symbolize a time of remembrance and appreciation for loved ones and friends. As part of this annual tradition, a Tree of Lights Memorial Service will be held on Sunday, December 6 at Trinity Lutheran Church, 508 Center St., Ashland. Music will begin at 4:30 p.m. and the service will begin at 5:00 p.m. The service is open to the public and will include a special candle lighting in memory of loved ones. An informal reception will be held in the church lobby immediately following the service. Come rejoice in remembering and honoring those lives you have had the privilege to share. Illuminated from Thanksgiving through the New Year, the Hospice trees can be seen at Hospice House, located at 1050 Dauch Drive, Ashland; in Loudonville at Central Park; in Mansfield at Hospice's What Goes ‘Round Thrift Shoppe; in New London next to the New London Library; and in Shelby at the McDonald's gazebo.
