Description

The Visiting Nurse Association of Mid-Ohio has just one fundraising event each year. We pride ourselves on a strong, concise message with plenty of time for guests to enjoy themselves. Tuesday, August 12, 2014 will be our first annual Treasures of Mid-Ohio event held at the historic Ohio State Reformatory. You will enjoy wonderful food and drinks from Ed Pickens Café on Main. We welcome Lydia Reid and Deb Mason as our co-chairs. Our theme is Live Well. This can mean many things to those who look to the VNA for help in the home. Some of our patients are recovering from illness or injury and are eager to regain their independence. Others count on us every day to help them better manage a chronic condition and improve their quality of life. To reflect that theme, proceeds from the event will support our services to patients who need some additional help to Live Well. The VNA will go above and beyond to help our patients meet their goals. A diabetic patient struggling with a new weight loss plan appreciates a new digital scale. Or, a heart failure patient learns how to take better care of herself thanks to a Telecare monitor. Psychiatric patients often need more visits than their benefits will cover to become stable and be linked to other agencies that can help them take better care of themselves. Live and Silent Auctions. Sponsorship opportunities are available and range from $500-2,500. Tickets are $50 each / Table of Eight for $400
