Richland Community Development Group and the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce as we participate in this webinar.
There is no charge for you to attend, but seating is limited.
During this webinar, you'll uncover ways to increase your marketing and communications strategies in order to boost visibility and attract talent for your community - don't miss this one.
If you're an economic developer in a rural community then you know how unique your challenges are compared to your urban counterparts. For one, many workers are drawn to large cities where job offerings, networking opportunities, and social activities abound. What's more is that businesses located in rural settings oftentimes struggle in reaching potential job candidates due to their organization size or location in a lesser-known area.
Hear why fostering an enhanced quality of life through the investment of revitalization projects, utilization of natural resources, and promotion of low cost of living are just a few tactics you can use. You'll also hear new ways to improve the business climate through worker incentives, entrepreneurial support, and more.
At the end of this webinar you will know these two essential nuggets of information, and much more:
- Workforce challenges specific to small and rural communities
- Resources that can be leveraged to implement talent attraction and retention strategies
