TEAM BEAR EVENT--Howard (Bear) Jeffries Benefit

Team Bear Event: A Benefit To Help A Local Family Fighting Leukemia A benefit dinner for Howard "Bear" Jeffries will be held on July 20th from 2pm-10pm at the Moose Lodge, 970 Lucas rd., Mansfield, Ohio. Howard was diagnosed with Acute Lymphoblastic Leukemia this past December, and received a bone marrow transplant in May at the OSU James Cancer Center. The benefit will help Howard and his family with both personal and medical expenses. The benefit will include a "Big 3 Raffle" which will consist of an Apple ipad, Weber gas grill, and Diamond tennis bracelet for a $10 donation/ticket. "Big 3 Raffle" tickets can be purchased at Wal-Mart on Lexington-Springmill road between 10am and 4pm on the following Saturdays: June 22nd, July 6th, and July 13th. Tickets will also be available at the benefit. Other raffle/silent auction items will include Cleveland Indian Tickets, African Safari tickets, a handmade OSU quilt, and much more. 50/50 raffles, children's activities, a bake sale, and live DJ will round out the family event. A meal will be offered for $7/plate. We will be serving shredded chicken sandwiches, sloppy joes, sides, desserts, and drinks.
