Shelby will soon gain a 14 acre, 2.5 Megawatt solar field! We are truly excited about this renewable energy resource which will be the first of its kind in Richland County. This remarkable project is a being carried out in partnership with AEP OnSite Partners, with whom the City enjoys a very good working relationship.
