Location
Register at Mid-Ohio ESC and travel together by bus to the Mansfield Reformatory. You will hear a thought-provoking keynote speaker, take a tour and participate in group activities.
Return to Mid-Ohio ESC for lunch and afternoon speakers, including roundtable discussions. (Note: Prison tour is not handicapped accessible and includes walking and climbing stairs.)
Fees/Admission
$75.00 per person with prison tour and lunch included. Register four individuals from your school district and the fifth is free.

Schools RE-Imagined Leadership Conference

School leaders are invited to be a part of this unique, all-day conference. With a clear purpose in mind, we will tour the former Ohio State Reformatory in Mansfield where much of the critically acclaimed movie, The Shawshank Redemption, was filmed, hear insights from our keynote speakers and participate in roundtable discussions.
Be a part of Schools Re-Imagined
- As educational leaders, our focus is to re-imagine today’s schools taking a creative look at how we might “free” students held captive by traditional, outdated instructional practices.
- With a clear purpose in mind, we will tour the Mansfield Reformatory, get insights from our keynote speakers and participate in roundtable discussions.
- Get ready for a meaningful day by watching The Shawshank Redemption—for the first or umpteenth time—and refresh your memory of this Academy Award nominated movie.
