Today's landscape is littered with failed businesses that ignored the trends shaping the business landscape of the future. SCORE presents a thought-provoking workshop discussing the seven mega trends which will impact most every business in the year 2020 and beyond.

Our Presenter:
Alec (Al) Morrison currently owns several small businesses -- Creekside Eventing Complex, LLC; SFM & Sons Equine Construction, LLC; APM Consulting Services; Liquid Level Innovations, LLC. Al teaches in the Weatherhead School of Management at Case Western Reserve University. He currently serves as Co-Chair for the SCORE Akron Chapter; Medina Sub-Chair and a counselor for SCORE a national volunteer organization focused on helping small businesses.
Prior to that he was a vice president for A.T. Kearney (a Global Management Consulting firm).
Al has over 35 years of management consulting, 15 years of industrial experience, 10 years as a small business owneer and 7 years as a SCORE mentor.
During his consulting career, he conducted projects involving manufacturing operations, strategy, information technology, materials management and organizational effectiveness. Client industries he served include: automotive, communications, energy, paper, pharmaceutical, telecommunications and tire manufacturing.
His previous positions include: Vice President of marketing/business planning and Director of control systems/design for Electron; District Staff education instructor, Marketing Representative and Systems Engineer for IBM; and Plant Engineering Systems Manager and Production Supervisor for General Motors.
Al holds an Electrical Engineering degree from the General Motors Institute and a Master's degree in Engineering Administration from Case Western Reserve University.
