Kelly Blankenship
Kelly graduated from Coastal Carolina University with a Bachelor of Science in Business Administration. After moving back to Ohio, she began her career in the public sector, working for the City of Mansfield. There she served in numerous departments beginning with Community Development performing accounting functions, then moving to the Mansfield Municipal Court to tackle grants, unpaid fines, and becoming the Small Claims Administrator. In 2007, she was elected as the City of Mansfield Finance Director and served in that capacity for the next 4 years. Receiving awards from the state each year, she administered the income tax collections, payroll, accounts receivable and accounts payable functions, as well as implementing software and process updates for all city departments. In 2011, she gave birth to her third child and her family decided her time would be best served at home caring for her children and home schooling. In 2016, she began a home-based income tax business serving individuals and sole proprietors. When her youngest child was old enough to begin schooling, she decided to send her children to traditional school so she could re-enter the workforce. In 2018, she was hired as the Executive Director of Harmony House Homeless Services, Inc., the local emergency homeless shelter. Kelly has big dreams and goals for Harmony House and works tirelessly to oversee the operations with a focus on growth and enrichment of the services offered there.
