This collaborative series exclusively for women is being co-hosted by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce and the Small Business Development Center at Ashland University. Each month we'll have a time of powerful networking, a motivational "TED-type" talk as well as a chance to learn more about your community. We look forward to having you join us!
Being a mentor benefits both parties in many ways whether it be in business or your personal life. We will hear from a mentor and a mentee about their experience and best practices.
Meet our Guest Speakers:
Brittany Burkett graduated from North Central State College with her Associates Degree in Accounting in May 2014. She is currently attending The Ohio State University to receive her Bachelors Degree in Business Management. After graduating in 2014, Brittany started her banking career in Richland County as a Customer Service Representative and then grew to supervise a new branch in a new market area in northern Richland County, building the client base and deposits. After this, she moved on to fulfill her dreams of using her accounting degree at a large manufacturing company, also in Richland County. Since then, Brittany has moved back into the banking industry where she thrives on helping others. Outside of the banking world, Brittany is a co-owner of Made To Reign which is a local women's fashion boutique, she enjoys spending time with her husband T.C. and Australian Shepherd Boomer, and she loves serving as a board member of her church in Ashland. Brittany is passionate about growing and learning, and took advantage of the Richland Young Professionals Mentorship Program to learn from an area mentor. She is a champion of women and an encourager to all.
