Description
The American Red Cross of the Lake Erie Heartland Chapter will be hosting a Festival of Trees event and is the perfect kick off to the holiday season in Richland & Ashland Counties. Local artisans and decorators donate beautiful holiday trees, wreaths, swags and centerpieces which are then auctioned off with the proceeds benefiting local Red Cross disaster services. Additionally, local companies donate wonderful and unique items for the auction. During the event, guests will have the opportunity to support Richland Gives. This year, the event will start early with a VIP cocktail reception where sponsors and decorators will get a live sneak peak at this year's items and be able to get registered for the online bidding that starts that evening and ends on November 28th. Since this is the 26th anniversary of this signature Red Cross event that was started in Wooster, the VIP Reception will be held at the Red Cross facility in Wooster Ohio from 5:00-7:00 p.m. On November 28, sponsors will be hosted by Mid Ohio Conference Center, for a delicious dinner with open bar and final opportunity to bid on the auction before it closes that evening.
