Social Media in the Workplace
Navigating Social Media do's and don'ts in the workplace can be tricky. Join us for an in depth look at the laws, rights, and responsibilities when it comes to your employees and their use of social media in the workplace. Areas that will be explored include:
- Define the National Labor Relations Act and how it impacts your business
- A review of the National Labor Relations Board and their authority
- Employee union organizing efforts and the do's and don'ts according to the National Labor Relations Board
- National Labor Relations Board's stance on employee's use of social media while at work
- A review of the factors to consider before disciplining an employee for their use of social media with regard to making comments regarding the workplace
- A review of the right-to-work statutes and their true meaning
