In 2018, significant tax changes will be rolled out for Small businesses. During this session you will learn 7 tax saving strategies that could benefit your business:
- Choosing the right entity type (C corp vs. S corp) to take advantage of the lower tax rates
- Maximizing the new 20% business income deduction
- Accelerating deductions for new equipment purchases
- Strategies to deduct building improvements (including HVAC and roofing)
- Strategies to deduct company vehicles
- Planning for expenses that are no longer deductible for tax purposes
- Taking advantage of charitable giving in spite of the $24,000 standard deduction
Tim Hilterman, CFP, serves on the Wealth Management side of Whitcomb & Hess.
