Description
The Arts & Lectures Series at The OSU-Mansfield campus features the JiMiller Band in Founders Auditorium. The band's style is as varied as their influences -- blending togethr blues, country, Cajun, old rock'n'roll, and bluegrass. But, the band is best known for its free form improvisation rock that was made famous by The Grateful Dead and Allman Brothers. A bright star in the Midwest music scene, the JiMiller Band has played the 10,000 Festival with String Cheese and Galactic. They have opened for Bruce Hornsby, and during 2005-2006 they opened for Little Feat at Cleveland's House of Blues. FREE tickets for the performance may be obtained by calling the campus at 419-755-4314. The Arts & Lectures Series is sponsored by OSU-Mansfield, NC State College and MedCentral College of Nursing
