DESCRIPTION:This series is especially important for our women members because it empowers them with practical tools\, confidence\, and perspective to lead effectively at work and in the community. It also fosters connection among women professionals\, reminding them that their voices\, experiences\, and leadership styles matter and that growth is strongest when it's shared. We look forward to having you join us!\n\nLeading with Resilience in Uncertain Times\n\nOrganizations and businesses across all sectors have faced significant disruption in recent years\, requiring leaders to make difficult decisions\, adapt quickly\, and remain grounded in their mission. In this session\, Peggy Anderson will share lessons from leading through uncertainty\, organizational change\, external pressures\, and adversity\, while reflecting on the unique expectations often placed on women leaders. Attendees will leave with practical strategies for building resilience\, leading with authenticity\, giving themselves grace\, and supporting their teams through challenging times.\n\n \n\nBy the end of this session\, participants will be able to:\n\n1. Recognize the importance of surrounding yourself with a team whose strengths complement your own and help fill the gaps you may have as a leader.\n\n\n	Identify personal leadership gaps and build a team with the skills\, perspectives\, and strengths needed to complement them.\n\n\n2. Strengthen confidence in making difficult decisions during periods of uncertainty.\n\n\n	Gain tools for balancing competing priorities and moving organizations forward when stakes are high.\n	Face discomfort directly while staying grounded in your values\, responsibilities\, and long-term organizational goals.\n\n\n\n\nMeet our Speaker\n\n\n\nPeggy Anderson has served for over 6 years as the Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Third Street Family Health Services\, a nonprofit community health center serving Ashland\, Crawford\, Marion\, and Richland counties in Ohio with a focus on reaching medically underserved populations. Peggy spent the last 28 years working in nonprofit health organizations with a focus on HIV\, individuals with increased barriers to care\, LGBTQ individuals\, and community health. \n\n \n\nIn her current role as CEO\, Peggy is responsible for all programmatic aspects and operational oversight of the healthcare nonprofit which operates on a $32 million annual budget through 10 clinical offices and 1 administrative office in 5 cities. Peggy has significant experience with nonprofit mergers and acquisitions. Along with the board of trustees of multiple organizations\, she led the strategic planning to open multiple medical centers and pharmacies to better serve community needs and sustain the organizations.\n\n \n\nPeggy serves on the boards of the Ohio Association of Community Health Centers\, Richland Area Chamber of Commerce\, Domestic Violence Shelter of Richland County\, North Central State College Foundation\, and Monarch Place Apartments.
