DESCRIPTION:This series\, designed especially with women in mind\, is being hosted by the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development. Each month\, we gather for a time of powerful networking\, a motivational "TED-type" talk\, as well as a chance to learn more about our community. We look forward to having you join us!\n\n\n\nPlease join us as we learn to utilize selected virtues of karate to facilitate personal development within the workplace.\n\n\n\nMeet our speaker: Reneta Music\n\n\n\nReneta is a dedicated physical fitness professional who developed a passion for karate in 1991 and never looked back.  Within three years of beginning her study\, she earned her black belt and dedicated herself to karate and physical fitness\, setting the foundation for her future endeavors. Reneta is driven by her desire to empower people especially women and children through physical fitness.\n\n \n\nIn 2010\, Reneta began kettlebell training at the YMCA of North Central Ohio. Her expertise and leadership qualities quickly gained recognition from YMCA management\, and she rose to become the chief instructor for both the karate program and the kettlebell program.\n\n \n\n In addition to her role as a personal trainer\, Reneta was an instructor for the Livestrong program\, providing invaluable support to cancer survivors as they navigated through their healing journeys. Her passion for empowerment extended to women and girls\, as she offered specialized life-protection classes designed to enhance their confidence and self-defense skills.\n\n \n\nAlways striving for more knowledge\, Reneta earned four certifications through the International StrongFirst School of Strength between 2011 and 2013\, including level I and level II kettlebell\, barbell\, and bodyweight certifications. StrongFirst recognized her expertise\, teaching prowess\, and safe training practices in 2015 when it appointed her to the rank of Team Leader\,  Today\, she proudly holds the rank of Team Leader Elite. \n\n \n\nIn August 2023\, Reneta embarked on a new chapter in her career when she founded\, the Music Academy of Karate and Empowerment. She started small\, teaching traditional karate classes from her home\, and opened her nonprofit school in September 2024\, located at 44 West 4th Street. This establishment represents her commitment to sharing her knowledge and skills with the community. She is committed to a Mansfield\, Richland County\, Downtown revitalization\, learning space for people of all ages . Regardless of financial resources. \n\n \n\nWith an impressive (extensive) background as an 8th-degree black belt\, a personal trainer certified through the National Council on Strength and Fitness (NCSF)\, a strength coach\, and a movement specialist\, Reneta is driven by a deep passion for empowering others to move well and enjoy their lives to the fullest. Her mission is to share the knowledge and skills she has acquired in strength training\, movement\, karate\, and Life-Protection\, helping individuals unlock their potential and lead healthier\, more confident lives.
