DESCRIPTION:Formerly Lunch WISE Wednesday\, this series exclusively for women is being hosted by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce. Each month we'll have a time of powerful networking\, a motivational "TED-type" talk as well as a chance to learn more about your community. We look forward to having you join us!\n\n\n\nEmpowering Women...Oh the Places You Could Go!\n\nThoughts from a woman who has enjoyed 50+ years in education and the arts in Mansfield\, OH\, playing many different "roles".\n\n\n\n\n\n\nMarianne Cooper is a graduate of Bowling Green State University with a Master of Music and PhD work in Educational Administration. Her undergraduate degree from The Ohio State University is a Bachelor of Science in Music Education. During those years she also studied at Tanglewood with Bernstein\, Copland\, Ross & Munch and performed in music theatre on the East Coast. After several years in the public schools of Ohio and Michigan\, Marianne became an Associate Professor of Music at The Ohio State University at Mansfield teaching music education classes\, choral music\, voice and music theatre. She toured nationally with the Norman Luboff Choir\, appeared in music theatre\, opera & oratorio in a three-state area and conducted three European Choir Tours with the University Singers. After retiring and becoming an Emeritus Associate Professor of Music\, Marianne co-founded and still serves as the Executive Director of the Richland Academy of the Arts for over 24 years. In honor of that accomplishment\, the North Central State College inducted Marianne into their Entrepreneur Hall of Fame in 2012. \n\n\n\nThank you Southern Title of Ohio for Sponsoring this event!
