DESCRIPTION:Businesses nominated for the Small Business of the Year Award are invited to attend a special Nominee Breakfast on Thursday\, October 3rd at 8:00 a.m. (breakfast starting at 7:45 a.m.) at Deer Ridge Golf Club.\n\nAt the breakfast\, we will present nominee certificates and give you more information on the application process and the award timeline. You will also have the opportunity to meet other nominees and the committee members working on this award. The breakfast is hosted by our award sponsors: Medical Mutual\, Mechanics Bank\, OhioHealth\, Richland Source\, DRM Productions\, Alumni Roofing\, and Park National Bank.\n\n \n\nThe process for choosing a winner is modeled after the US Chamber of Commerce guidelines.  Applicants will be judged on the following five criteria:  business performance\, staff training and motivation\, community impact\, customer service\, business strategies & goals. \n\n \n\nAward finalists will receive special recognition in The Chamber Link\, social media and local news outlets and the winners will be named at a special awards luncheon on Friday\, December 10\, 2024. The winners of the Small Business awards will also be nominated for the US Chamber of Commerce Small Business Award and have a chance to gain national recognition!
