SUMMARY:Lunch WISE Wednesday - Impostor Syndrome
DESCRIPTION:Imposter Syndrome\nJodie and Annamarie will be having a conversation about and exploring the topic of Imposter Syndrome. According to the Harvard Business Review\, "Imposter syndrome can be defined as a collection of feelings of inadequacy that persist despite evident success. 'Imposters' suffer from chronic self-doubt and a sense of intellectual fraudulence that override any feelings of success or external proof of their competence".\n\nPerhaps you can identify with these feelings as many smart and successful people do. Join us as we explore how Imposter Syndrom is defined\, how it may affect us in our careers\, and ways in which one might overcome it. \n\n\n\n\n\n\nAnnamarie Fernyak is a certified life coach\, mindfulness meditation teacher\, serial entrepreneur and founder of Mind Body Align LLC. The idea for Mind Body Align grew out of her own need for a nourishing place to work and a desire to hang out with people engaged in personal and professional growth.\n\n\n\n\n\nJodie A. Perry\, CCE\, IOM\, CCEO-AP has served as President & CEO of the Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development in Mansfield\, Ohio since July\, 2014. In 2017 she also took over leadership for the Richland Community Development Group. In this combined role she is responsible for leading the county-wide economic\, community and workforce development efforts. She is active in the community and serves on a number of local boards. She graduated from Ashland University and is originally from Rochester\, NY. She loves living in Mansfield with her dog Lizzy Bennett!\n\n\n\n\n\nThis collaborative series exclusively for women is being co-hosted by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce\, Mind Body Align\, and the Small Business Development Center at Ashland University. Each month we'll have a time of powerful networking\, a motivational "TED-type" talk as well as a chance to learn more about your community. We look forward to having you join us!
