DESCRIPTION:This collaborative series exclusively for women is being co-hosted by the Richland Area Chamber of Commerce\, Mind Body Align\, and the Small Business Development Center at Ashland University. Each month we'll have a time of powerful networking\, a motivational "TED-type" talk as well as a chance to learn more about your community. We look forward to having you join us!\n\n\n\nAre You In Control Of Your Brand?\n\nThe World Wide Web has taken your personal and company brand out of your hands and placed the power in the hands of the person viewing it. Or has it? This presentation will offer tips\, best practices and strategies to ensure you brand is reflecting the reputation and message you want.\n\n\n\n\n\n\n\n \nJessica Hiser is the Creative Communication Director for Spherion Mid Ohio. With almost 10 years in the Marketing world\, her passion is connecting the dots of the message to the solution. Whether that's through massive campaigns\, dissecting analytics\, or discovering creative ways to communicate\, Jessica is constantly adapting to the needs and changes of marketing in today's world. \n \n\nA graduate of Indiana Wesleyan University\, Jessica has her degree in Public Relations and double emphasis in Mass Communication and Business Organization. Raised a Buckeye in 'state up north' she met her husband in college and moved to his home town 7 years ago. They currently live in Mansfield\, with their two-year-old daughter Rowen and are expecting their second daughter April\, 2019. \n\n \n\nJessica is an advocate in Mid-Ohio schools\, presenting to thousands of high school students preparing them for the workplace someday\, and teaching the importance of Soft Skills\, Owning Your Brand\, and Interview Tips. \n\n \n\nOutside the office\, Jessica is an active board member for Richland Young Professionals\, Richland Academy Of The Arts\, Downtown Mansfield Inc. and CACY. She sits on the SPARC Talent Development committee\, is an advisor for the Precision Machine class at Pioneer\, co-instructs the first segment of YEA and is a Chamber Ambassador. She also co-chairs the Spherion 13er\, a 1/2 marathon and 5k throughout downtown Mansfield that raises funds for drug prevention and treatment in our communities. Jessica is a 2018 graduate of Leadership Unlimited and is in her 6th year being a "Big" through Mid-Ohio Mentoring (Big Brother Big Sister). She loves calling Richland County home\, and exploring all the wonderful gems our area has to offer!
