DESCRIPTION:PUBLIC NOTICE\n\n \n\nTHE RICHLAND COUNTY LAND BANK recognizes the fact that the fate of inner City Mansfield is closely intertwined with the need for improved housing stock for all economic backgrounds\, all physical conditions\, and lifestyles. \n\n \n\nWE ARE PROUD TO ANNOUNCE THAT PHASE TWO HAS BEGUN:\n\nTHE REDEVELOPMENT OF FORFEITED\, ABANDONED\, AND DEMOLISHED PROPERTY.\n\n \n\nTHE FIRST PRIVATE REDEVELOPMENT PROJECT HAS BEEN COMPLETED\n\n \n\nThe Richland County Land Bank\, Blue Door Developers\, Richland County Commissioners\, City of Mansfield\, and Richland Area Chamber & Economic Development are excited to present:\n\n \n\nThe Ribbon Cutting \n\nMonday\, June 29\, 2020 at 10:00am\n\nfor \n\n \n\n 63 Rowland Avenue\, Mansfield\, Ohio\n\n \n\nWhere once stood two tax delinquent\, unmaintained\, dilapidated\, unsafe\, houses now stands a brand new\, efficient\, accessible\, and modern multi family structure thanks to Blue Door Developers William Barber and Chris McAuley. Each of these well-equipped one bedroom units\, close to downtown\, are perfect for the individual who wants to embrace the minimalist lifestyle. \n\nWhile the Land Bank has no intention of discontinuing blight removal\, we are excited that Phase Two has finally happened. 63 Rowland is just the first in a long line of housing redevelopment projects. The Land Bank has partnered with Blue Door Development who plans to build another 98 housing units on Land Bank provided properties within the next ten years. We are also supplying properties for the Area on Aging\, who has plans to build 12 housing units for people to age into yet this year\, and North End Community Improvement Collaborative\, who is developing plans for 8-12 affordable housing units and Habitat for Humanity to build single family homes. Together we will achieve our mission\; to make a positive sustainable impact on our community by strategically acquiring vacant and abandoned properties\, reducing blight\, increasing property values\, and returning properties to productive use improving the quality of life for county residents.
